Hermitage is east Davidson County's main shopping and medical district. Old Hickory Boulevard, Lebanon Pike, and Central Pike carry most of the area's restaurants, grocery, and big-box stores. The TriStar Summit hospital campus anchors a cluster of medical offices and surgery suites. Hotels sit at I-40 Exit 221, and visitors come for Andrew Jackson's Hermitage and Percy Priest Lake. Our shop is in Brush Creek. We don't claim a Hermitage storefront.
Who We Help in Hermitage
Hermitage mixes busy retail strips, a hospital-centered medical district, interstate hotels, and lake and tourism traffic:
Medical and professional offices: physician practices, outpatient clinics, and surgery suites around the Frist Blvd hospital campus and along Central Pike, where steady comfort and clean air matter all day
Restaurants and quick-service kitchens: the dense dining strip on Old Hickory Blvd and Lebanon Pike, where one RTU and one walk-in carry the business
Grocery, big-box, and strip retail: anchored centers and pad sites along Old Hickory Blvd, Lebanon Pike, and Central Pike with multi-unit roofs
Hotels and extended-stay properties: guest-room PTAC or split systems plus lobby and common-area RTUs near I-40 Exit 221
Lakeside restaurants and marina stores: seasonal food businesses near Percy Priest Lake off Bell Rd, where refrigeration has to be ready for the summer rush. Comfort HVAC and refrigeration only
Auto service, banks, and service businesses: small shops and bays along Lebanon Pike with packaged units
Churches, schools, and apartments: congregations and residential common areas across Hermitage's established neighborhoods
Medical comfort, retail rooftops, and restaurant walk-ins are the work. A residential-first truck is not built for it.
Comfort and refrigeration service for east Davidson medical, retail, and hospitality buildings.
Rooftop units, split systems, and packaged equipment
Repair, replacement, and service for retail, restaurant, office, and medical-office RTUs and split systems. Much of the Old Hickory Blvd and Lebanon Pike strip has run the same rooftop equipment for years.
VRF systems
Zoned VRF for medical suites, multi-tenant professional offices, and hotel properties that need room-by-room control.
Walk-in coolers and freezers
Refrigeration service for restaurants, grocers, hotel kitchens, and lakeside food businesses. Catch failing compressors, iced evaporators, and worn door seals before you lose product. If a walk-in starts warming up, the free Walk-In Panic Pack is the 15-minute plan.
Boilers and chillers
Service for the larger office and medical buildings in the area that run plant equipment.
Preventative maintenance programs
Custom-priced after a free walkthrough. Program members get priority emergency response. This works well for medical practices that can't close for a repair and for owners with several storefronts on the same corridor.
Emergency commercial service
Call (931) 356-7776. Emergency service is available for commercial customers, with priority for preventative maintenance program members.
What makes Hermitage commercial HVAC different
East Davidson's retail corridor, hospital district, and visitor traffic all lean on the same summer-stressed rooftops.
Old Hickory Blvd, Lebanon Pike, and Central Pike
The commercial spine of Hermitage. From I-40 Exit 221 north to Lebanon Pike, the corridor is lined with restaurants, grocery, home-improvement and big-box stores, auto service, and banks. In December 2025 Metro Council applied a 339-acre Corridor Design Overlay along Old Hickory Blvd and Central Pike, with design standards for new development. Older strip buildings and new pad sites now sit side by side.
The hospital and medical district
TriStar Summit Medical Center at 5655 Frist Blvd is a 234-bed hospital, and many of its physicians keep offices on the campus. Surgery and primary-care suites also line nearby Central Pike. Medical offices notice a failed unit right away.
I-40 Exit 221 hotels
Budget and extended-stay hotels cluster at the Old Hickory Blvd interchange. Guest-room units and common-area rooftops run around the clock.
Andrew Jackson's Hermitage
A 1,120-acre National Historic Landmark that draws more than 170,000 visitors a year. In September 2026 the Andrew Jackson Foundation announced a $132 million plan that includes a new visitor and education center of about 70,000 sq ft. That visitor traffic feeds Hermitage's hotels and restaurants.
Percy Priest Lake
The Corps of Engineers lake covers 14,200 surface acres. Marinas off Bell Rd, including Nashville Shores in Hermitage, bring seasonal lake traffic with restaurants and stores. Summer is the peak season for both the lake and the walk-ins that serve it.
What this means for Hermitage facility managers
Medical offices need steady comfort: plan PM around patient hours so units don't fail mid-schedule
Restaurant row runs on refrigeration: a failed walk-in on a Friday night is a crisis
Older strip centers mean repair-vs-replace decisions as the corridor redevelops
Hotels never shut off: guest-room and common-area units need scheduled care
Summer peaks stack up: lake season, tourism, and Middle Tennessee heat all land at once
Long, humid Middle Tennessee summers are hard on rooftop condensers and walk-in compressors alike.
